Method of Admission

(a) Class I: No admission test would be conducted for admission to class I.

(b) Class II and above except class XI: For admission to these classes, an admission test would be conducted and a merit list prepared for each category of priority separately. Admission would be given in order of merit.

(c) Candidate securing less than 33% marks in any subject would not be eligible for admission.

(d) An admission test would be conducted in the following subject:
Primary Class (Except Class I) English, Hindi & Maths
Middle Class: English, Hindi, Maths and G.K.
Secondary: Hindi, English, Maths, Social Science and Science

(e) Concession up to 5 marks can be given for deficiencies in language (Hindi/English), if adequate number of candidates fail to qualify in the admission test. An assurance would be received in writing from the parents that the language deficiency in the child will be removed with the academic session.

(f) Admission to class X and XII will be considered by the Joint Secretary CBSE of the region, subject to the children fulfilling the following conditions:
  1. The vacancies are available
  2. If the child is coming with transfer certificate from other district (TC)
  3. The child has been in the same course of studies in the CBSE affiliated school.
  4. The child must have obtained not less than 50% marks in class IX & XI examination.
  5. The child should be eligible as per CBSE Exam Bye Laws.
  6. The combination of the Subject are available in this school.
(g) Class XI Admission: Fresh admission would be made after accommodating the eligible students of the same school and there after other schools. The cut off marks for admission in both the situation would be as under:

Science with Maths
Minimum 60% marks in Maths Minimum 57% marks in Maths

Science without Maths

Commerce with Maths
Minimum 60% marks in Maths Minimum 60% marks in Maths

Humanities
All students of CBSE Board, declared successful
For Non-CBSE or Other State Board, Humanities can be offered if 50% marks obtained in Aggregate. Humanities with Maths can be offered if 60% marks obtained in Mathematics.

Admission to class XI for other than the CBSE would be finalized only after conducting Admission /Aptitude test, even if they have obtained higher percentage of marks, provided the child has passed the Board Examination in the month of March of the year in which admission is being sought or in the first chance of compartment examination not later than 15th August of the year in which admission is being sought.

Computer Science as elective is offered to the students of All stream.
